I was always proud that I can’t remember learning to swim because it seems I always could, spending so much time in swimming pools with him in Singapore. I loved our adventures in the Rockies, in log cabins, seeing bears and moose etc except for the time he told us to get out of the car which was slip sliding down a snowy mountain road and watched at the side of a steep drop while he turned the car around. And I can still see him in the pub one New Year’s Eve with all the black mascara dobbles on his forehead from the game of ibble dibble dobble we had been playing at home that he had failed to wash off! No one at the bar had batted an eyelid or commented. So funny!
